When Nathanael was diagnosed with sagittal craniosynostosis, his family was initially very anxious. After meeting with David F. Jimenez, MD, FACS, their fears started to abate because they felt their son was in the best hands possible. Nathanael’s father, Carlos, told us that the experience of watching his son go into surgery was scary, but the procedure went well. Carlos was also concerned about how the surgery might affect his son’s development, but he has confirmed that Nathanael is now in kindergarten and “excelling at school.” Carlos also praised the director of our cranial remolding program: Darren J. Poidevin, CPO, LPO. “Darren did a good job with the helmet therapy. He explained things so well and was there for us every step of the way.”
