The objective of Neurological Sciences Grand Rounds is to improve understanding of disease pathogenesis, learn diagnostic approaches to medical disorders, and learn new advances in prevention and treatment.

Neurological Sciences Grand Rounds is held each Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. The general format begins with a 30 minute case presentation of an interesting/difficult patient by the Residents, followed by an hour didactic lecture on a neurological topic. We invite all interested persons to
attend and to participate.

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
